400whp s2k don't want to sell, but I got to... 18,999

I have for sale a 2004 Honda s2000 convertible. It has a greddy turbo kit, competition clutch stage 3 clutch and 11 lb. flywheel, too much to list. Between parts and labor there are more than 15k in upgrades. The car is running a safe 14 psi, and it was tuned in at 357.7 on a dyno dynamics dynometer which reads 30% lower than the industry standard dynojet. On a dynojet it would have put down 415ish. This car is very fast, and it has always been adult driven. The mods were done to it in February, so they are all in like new condition. The car also has a kenwood mp3 cd player, and infinity door speakers and roll hoop speakers. It also has a pretty new set of 18" Rota D2's that are staggered offset. 9.5" in the rear and 8.5" in the front with Sumotoma zr rated tires. The car's paint is spotless/scratchless (i didn't even have to wash it for the photos) and it has a brand new top. Car has absolutely nothing wrong with it.I am selling it because I got in over my head, and I spent way too much money in mods, but I am not asking for half of what I spent. I paid $18k for the car in January, and I spent $15k. $20k is a fair price, and it's fairly negotiable...This is priced to sell. the car has 73,xxx miles.

I am also open to trades + cash on your end. I cannot afford to trade up or even at this moment.

feel free to call me at (912)441-5600 with any questions...Please email all trade offers, and I will contact you.

I noticed the plate says Georgia. The car didn't get caught in the flood did it? My uncle's vette and 911 got caught in the recent flood. He's trying to sell them too. LOL. Anyway, good luck man!

i think it looks like a great car. good job on all the work done.

that being said, it is a common misconception that mods raise the value of the car, especially FI. I know you put a lot of time and money into the car, and it really does look great, but i would take RL's advice and part it out. you might be able to pull yourself out of your situation if you sell your FI and you can keep your car.

In most cases I would agree with you entirely, but in mine not so much. If I wanted to get my money back out of it I would have to as $30k, but I'm not.. I have 18999 for a car that bluebooks between 16-18k, and my price is negociable..

Next, to you the car isn't worth any more, but to someone looking to buy an s2000 and boost it the right way this is a way to save 13-14k...

I do think tere is a problem with people put wheels and exhaust on a car, and think it's worth tons, but, here, not so much.

Thanks for the compliments on the ar though

It only put down 357whp. Not 400. If it put down 400, then it'd be 400.

I can say the durka durka dyno in Iraq reads 400 percent low and put down 100whp but i'm not gonna claim its more. The dyno operator can correct as much stuff as he wants. Just by changing weight on mine by 500lbs , I put down 8 more whp NA corrected.

there is no way on gods green earth you are ever going to put down 400 whp with the greddy turbo kit...its NOT POSSIBLE!!! The MAX whp I would say is 350 and thats pushing it so I'm not sure how you came up with 357hp and 296 tq cause that just don't make sense the highest greddy hp guy around is on s2ki.com forums he has down 336 whp I think with a boat load of supporting mods.

Because at 10-11 psi the efficency dies on those turbos turns into a big hot air blowing gayness that you can't get ANY more power out of.

LOL, I guess you would know all about blowing gayness huh.

But bresne61 paper work says otherwise.

Im not saying its not possible but from what I know the greddy really is known to max out around 300whp, Not saying 350 is not possible but its pretty high for the greddy.. 400 I would say is unheard of but first for everything I guess...
