Floormat anchors

I went to my selling dealer today to buy a new set of floormats. The pair the parts guy pulled out had two anchor holes in the driver's mat. My current driver's mat only has one anchor hole and my car only has one anchor.

The parts guy told me that was the only set he had in stock.

Any idea where I can get a new black set of floormats with only one anchor hole?

Why not just use the one with two?

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

The single anchor isn't centered, is it?? If it fits, I'd say just use them (who's gonna notice??)

If not, I'm sure you can special order them, for an AP1 or whatever year it is. No doubt they're ridiculously expensive though!

I think his problem might be that the extra anchors might be creating a bump in the floor? Just a thought...

You went to the dealer? How much did that set you back?
Probably another $50 for the extra grommet.

He only has one anchor (standard on AP-1). The floor mats have two grommeted holes. He's concerned about the extra anchor hole that he doesn't have an anchor for...number 23 is the part he's missing. Floor mat anchor #23
and it's a whopping $7 from Momma Honda.

i have an ap1 and have 2 anchors.

the extra hole is a weight saving technique.

You have a later AP-1. The 1999/2000 only had one anchor.
