Fix Cigarette Lighter Plug...

Anyone have any idea on how to fix the Cigarette Lighter plug.

There's no charge to it and I wanna run GPS and stuff.

I believe it's maybe an issue with the fuse but I have no clue where that is...

The fuse is in the under dash fuse box. I'll check my book later to get the exact one. Or the connector on the accessory outlet may have come off. Have you had the top changed recently?

I do not believe so. I bought it only recently but it does look new.

I checked Fuse #5 as designated by the Manual in the interior fuse box. It is not blown.

The mechanic I bought it from said there's 2 fuses for it. I only see one in the interior fusebox.

However, on exterior large fusebox near the battery, fuse #7 is called Back Up ACC. But it's a 30A which doesn't make any sense.

And from what I see, everything else works. Dome lights, dash, AC, signals and etc.

Any ideas???

maybe it came unplugged.

you'll have to move the dr seat all the way forward and remove a few panels to reach back there and check.

You do know it's hot only when the ignition is on -that messed me up the first couple times I tried to use it.
