Under your seat is a little wire with a connection going to the floor. Disconnect this.

Why do you not want to wear your seat belt?

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Dunno spice, properly driven, the song of the engine should drown out any chimes. Perhaps you're jus' not drivin' it hard enough?
Strap in n' light 'er up. 'Ain't much to look at, but it pulls some pretty good Gs.
Be well.

Java Junky:
Lol great freaken answer!!
Its just when i hit those pesky stop lights i hear her beep away

gomarlins3:
The thread was started just to find out about how to turn the chime off. But to answer your question is that, There are days i just dont want to put it on. It feels GREAT not to be strapped in and top down. And yes i do know the consequences, i am in the fire rescue profession. No need to educate me on that

Do these connections have any other job other than the seatbelt warning? As in airbag?
Thanks

I'm in the same line of work. And if anything, working in this field has made me that much more apt to always wear my seatbelt.

But if you don't mine taking your own life in your hands like that, then just pull/cut the plug under the seat. It should only affect the seatbelt chime and light and nothing else.

Well then from work i've seen the good and the bad from wearing/not wearing the seatbelt. Seatbelts at most save lives, but ive also seen them do a world of hurt.
-My point still stands: It just feels great to have no straps on your body, top down and wind rushing in-

Yeah i guess im just looking for a for sure answer on the unplugging the harness. I not convinced on a "it should" answer lol. Anybody here done it
