Izn;
I didn't care for the black/red interior when I picked mine up, but shortly thereafter couldn't picture the car with anything but.
As you've probably not had an all red interior before, this is probably glarin' at'cha every time you get within range.
Give it some time. 'Likely it's gonna grow on ya. When ya come right down to it, the interior don't cover a whole helluva lodda geography. It can pull it off nicely.
Be well.

Ya know Iz, the reason that we're drawn to Stewie is 'cause'a what it allows us to be able to do.
N' I godda confess: I'm biased towards red leather roadster interiors. For more years than I care to admit to, nothin' has said real "sportscar" to me more than a two-seat cockpit done up in red leather. What can I tell ya? I'm weak.
But I've said it before: if Stewie only came in yellow n' bright green stripes with a purple shag interior n' the driver was required, by Mama Honda law (n' everybody know, ain't nobody argue with mama) that the driver wear a red n' white polka-dot derby . . . well, my garage door'd be closed when it was on the tarmac, but you know that it was behind that door n' that there was a derby in my hat-size hangin' on a hook next to it.
If the car's in good shape n' it is a deal, don't let the interior color sour it for you. I really do think that you'll wind up likin' it.
Be well n' good luck.

true true. see, i wouldnt mind a little red, or even maybe 50%. but this is 100%, and it makes it feel..... cheap to me. im sure this is not at all what others feel, but i just feel more comfortable with much less red. im trying to talk them into replacing at least the seats and dash LOL. not gonna happen though.

yea, i found an '02 with 33K. i got him (dealer) to go to 21500. ill probably hold off 'till he can maybe go lower due to the color of the interior, or another comes in that is more my style LOL.

thanks for your opinion and input java!!!

Jus' remember Iz, the weather's changin' in favor of the seller as we text.
One word: seatcovers (okay, maybe it's really not jus' one word) For a very reasonable price you can satisfy your get-rid'a-red tendencies n' still have your Stewie.
The clock's tickin' Iz.
Be well n' good luck.

i reckon red interior is sexy but i tune my own cars so i got 2 say its up 2 the buyer. if ur modifying interior then interior colour shouldnt matter casue u going 2 replace the whole thing any way. On the other hand if you aint and just driving it then it matters. I reckon if your buying the car for an every day car you have to find the perfect one.

JR, I don't know that there's a perfect car out there for any of us. We're all such fussy brossards ('at's a town in Canadia). But, bein' realistic about it, you list your priorities n' try to satisfy the most important of them when you're puttin' down your jing, always lookin' for the best deal.
When you say that you "tune" your own cars JR, is that the true use of the term "tune", (which means bringin' an engine r' suspension to within an inch of peak efficiency) r' is that the present day misuse of the term (which seems to mean everything from extra carburators tack-welded to the real one down through fart-cans n' bumper stickers)?
As for replacin' the whole interior, dunno 'bout that. That's a helluva price to pay jus' to be yankin', spendin' n' replacin', y'know?
Be well.

I like the red interiors, but like the blue ones, there tends to be too much for my taste. I have seen some very nice ones that did a partial swap with other owners and now they are red and black or blue and black,

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Do a reverso -- trade someone their black seats for your red seats, then you are black/red combo

i paid extra 2g for my black-red interior and it's soooo sexy..
red interior gives you classic roadster feel. since it's rarer than regular
black interior. I wouldn't mind it.
