dumb question?
Rookie here......trying to set the clock and it just doesn't work according to what the manual says. Anyone else have this problem?
I hold the Clock button down with the 4 (H) until the time flashes then I press the 4 button while releasing the clock one but it just goes back to the station display?

I have trouble with the clock as well. I still haven't reset mine from the time change, but when I do get around to it here is the info I use:
To set the clock: To set the hours, press the H (Preset 4) button while pressing the CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold the H button until the hour advances to the desired time. To set the minutes, press the M (Preset 5) button while pressing the CLOCK (SCAN/RPT) button. Press and hold the M button until the minutes numbers advance to the desired time. You can use the R (Preset 6) button to quiclky set the time to the nearest hour. Press the R button while pressing the CLOCK button. If the displayed time is before the half hour, pressing the R sets the clock back to the previous hour. If the displayed time is after the half hour, pressing R sets the clock forward to the beginning of the next hour. |

You need to do it with the radio off I believe that way it doesn't change channels.

Thanks Guys for the quick replies.
That was it, the radio needs to be off and the clock button held down. Thanks again. Tomorrow morning I get the car registered then I'm hitting some serious backroads on my way to watch drag racing in New York!
