Amp Bypass

I'm getting a new radio installed and I've been shopping around at some install places. They need to know if an amp bypass will be required

Any quality car audio shop should know what's required, and if not, have the resources to find out. I'd find somebody else who's worked on one before. Or, at least somebody who knows what they're doing.

wow

i just got my audio system totally upgraded.
the amp it's just mad easy..
this is what i got.alpine 9885 headunit, alpine Amp.infiniti kappa component set.
first install the radio hook the wire to where u want to place the amp, then put the speaker and wire to where u place the amp.
after all power the amp and conect it.. that's it.

There is no such thing as an "amp bypass" If you add a new head unit it will come with preamp outputs and won't use it's internal amp. If you use the stock radio it will connect with the original harness and still play and sound as awful as always did.
