Well, it looks like it should have the enamel of a Jag emblem on the top of it. N' that's a good thing.
'Looks sweet Dude. 'Classy touch.
You've got me second-guessin' my leather MoMo.
Be well.

Well Java, I was hoping to find an old MG knob ! However, a Jag emblem would've looked cool as well.

So I settled on this generic knob. I love the look and feel of geuine wood.

s2000isu - Thanks!

The camera is a digital Nikon (D-200), however the lens I used is a Tamron 90mm micro. A terrific lens.

I've always maintained that it's not the camera body but the lens and the lighting that makes your shot.

How I shot it:
Camera on tripod by open car door.
Lighting was soft (overcast sky) so I used 2 small silver reflectors which I propped on the seats to add some sparkle. They did the trick.

Actually the image was a tad dark so I used Photoshop to brighten it which was the only enhancing that I did on this photo.

If anyone is interested, I spoke to my friend at the wood shop and I can get more wooden parts after the 1rst of the year.

Jagg - Thanks. The only thing I don't like about this gear shift knob is the light weight.

Compared to the OEM knob which has some heft (take it off and hold it in your hand and you'll see what I mean) this wooden guy is a light weight.

To be honest, I went back to the OEM knob for just that reason. It seems Honda knows what the're doing. Shifting is easier with a heavier knob.

At least that's been my experience. Anywho, I can always put the wooden knob back on when the spirit moves me.

The hard wood parts I was referring to is the machined shift knob as posted by S2000dude. I am the producer of that shift knob.

If anyone would like one of these black walnut shift knobs, email me
desmo4usa@netscape.net

The shop won't be able to produce any parts until after the first of the year, so you will have to be patient. If I get orders for 10 or more I can get a price break which I will pass along. If the orders are less than 10 then the price will be $75.00 + postage.
