You're trying to open it with the valet key. There are two different types of keys..the normal key which works with everything and the valet key which won't unlock the trunk or the glove box. Go to a Honda dealer and see if they can recreate the normal key or check with the person you bought the car from and ask where the rest of the keys are.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

thank you very much for your prompt reply. 2 keys come with the car, they seem to be exactly the same (both don't work)?
I will contact a local dealer to see how to deal with that.

Should be 3 keys...2 identical complete keys and 1 valet key. Sounds like someone got the valet key duped. The "real" key has a microchip so has to be programmed by the dealer. Do the keys you presently have have a silver shield with S2000 written on it on one side of the key?

Does the key actually turn the lock and the door is stuck? Or does the key slot in but not turn at all?
