A/C funny noises?

I had my A/C on the other day (its hot in SoCal lately) and once in a while it sounded like a woman groaning... now, jokes aside... it really did. And other times, it would sound faintly like a woman screaming. Is my car haunted or is the A/C just workin?? Anyone else have this issue?

it's hard to say without actually having an ear on it andy.
but, it doesn't sound like a normal condition to me.

haha, the first time i heard it i was looking around my car for possibly a woman standing around.
