They'll look great (and you can sell your stock seats for $6-700... )

you have to buy the seat rails so that you can adjust the front/rear movement. Sparco seats like that do not recline. They are fixed back. Most 5 point harness seats are fixed back.

nope, they're very comfortable. The biggest problem in every day driving is getting in and out of them.

I think they are overkill unless you are planning on tracking the car.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Keep in mind that in some states bucket seats aren't street legal because you can't use the traditional 3 point seatbelt with them. Not sure if the next applies to the S2000 but having a rollbar (to attach the 5-point harness) might also be illegal.

Up or down? Our seats go up and down?

The back reclines (up or down is not the most accurate way to put it)

Accurate? Isn't that a car built in Japan by Honda and sold in the US as a upscale Accord?

The big question is, will the seat you have in mind, fit in the car? There very few seats narrow enough to fit in the S. And the seat rails will to some extent define the seat width. I have a Recaro SPG and it just barely fits with 04 door panels to get a bit more room. As to the harness, no one will hassle you except the SCCA about the belts. For the SCCA you need to put in a sanctioned roll cage. And you want talk about getting in and out if the car is your daily driver with a roll cage.

I pretty sure any seat which will accommodate more than 35" around the widest part will be too wide to fit in the car. If you want to close the door that is.

If the S wasn't so much fun to drive I could fall asleep in my Recaro.
