Boot Cover Storage
Just received a new boot cover for my 2007 s2000. Figured out how to install it. The snaps are horribly designed and are located too deep behind the headrests to be easily accessible. Anyways, my question is how do you store it in the trunk? My boot cover is non-flexible. Am I supposed to bend it and fold it

Never mind, just figured it out. For others who may not know (because the picture is vague), you have to fold each side and tuck it into the fabric backing behind the cover.

I store mine in the garage. The top goes up and down far to often to have to mess with the cover.

Am I the only one that actually has it on the car? It will come off when the top goes up in October.

I store mine on the top when it is down. Otherwise it sits on a shelf in front of the car.

Could be used as a feed trough for various farm animals.

It's tricky to fold, but once you figure it out, it can be stored in the truck. Unless you need the room or have a subwoofer. I wound up selling mine, don't have a garage and never leave the car parked with the top down.

For me it finishes the cars appearance when the roof is in its folded position. Also when the roof is folded down it reveals the rubber seals to the weather, the cover will protect from the sun especially for the guys & gals who run around all summer with the roof down.
Its not a great design, as the side straps holding the cover down vibrate and slap a little when at highway speeds. It almost looks like an after thought design ! Neil |
