Modifry vs. PAC

Any thoughts? I want to change my head unit but keep dash controls. PAC is cheaper - is Modifry's DCI worth it?
thanks in advance!

I was under the impression that they both did the same thing. Haven't used one but that is what I was told..

I have the Modifry unit on my Alpine. Works great and it was plug & play.

Modifry is a great guy and someone I recommend.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I agree, the Modifry unit is awesome. Plugs right in and works out of the box.

The Modifry unit is the way to go. the PAC has delays and does not have all the functions that the Modifry has. The Modifry is a far superior piece. Buy his radio plug, and then it is truly plug and play. If your radio has the steering wheel control jack in the back, make sure to get the wired version from Modifry.

thanks, Mitch. I got the Modifry and installed it a few weeks ago. It's been great. I bought an Alpine head unit and got the wired plug-n-play harness. It was a breeze to install.

I did notice, however, that the 3.5 mm jack that plugs into the back of the HU would come loose. This happened about three times. I had the pull the HU each time to fix it. Finally, I took a small bit of electrical tape (about 1 mm wide) and wrapped it around the base of the jack (right next to the rubber) twice. This made the jack fit much more snuggly and I have had no problems since.
