Good question. The promo brochure I have ('06) just says "perforated leather seats". But the window sticker says "leather trimmed seats". Hmmmm........

judging by the wear marks, I'd say it's all leather except the sides and back portions of the seats.

Sniff your seat. See if it smells like an old baseball glove or an old shower curtain. (ya might wanna put it in the garage before you sniff or your neighbors will start talkin)

I treat the entire thing (fronts, sides and back) with leather care products. At least that's for my '02.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Test it under the rain with the top down, see is the seat water proof, since, leather seat won't absorb water as the cloth seat.
Just kidding....haha
I guess its leather seat.

I agree. Also there is some leather trim on the doors of my '05. (the perforated parts)

As for sniffing, I'll leave that to Molly.

I don't see the difference. The seats are leather.

Got some Maguires leather cream. It leaves a white residue in the perforations. I don't like it. what do you prefer?
