AP2 door panel fit AP1?

Hey guys, does anyone know if the 05' AP2 door panels will fit my 01' AP1 ? I really like the new look of the new AP2 door panels better than the 03' AP2 versions. If anyone has done this swap or know if they fit please chime in. Thanks

I think they will. I've seen AP2 panels on AP1.

Don't AP2s have extra speakers near the top of the panel by the rearview mirror?

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Not really sure, but AP1 and AP2 are part of VIN #.
It goes like this: JHMAP1...... or JHMAP2......

You can transfer all the internals of you Ap1 panels to AP2 panels and you will have to buy the speaker grills which are sold separately, $18.00 each. The benefit, slightly more room in the cabin and much better tweeter placement. I actually have an extra speaker grill. If I don't need it when I get my car back at the end of the month it will be available.

If ap relates to the world of manufacturing it means application. So ap1 is first application of the s2000 and ap2 is the second. SWAG (scientific wild ass guess).
