I went to a honda dealer because i only have one as well. There is no way ill get it form them, it costs 200 bucks without the immobilizer part. That costs another 100 or so.

I got mine at the dealer for $30. They programmed it off the key I had. Its for an Ap1 if that makes a difference.

I have a question i have an AP2 and a couple things I found annoying not sure if its the blonde in me being stupid or just the car but if you unlock with the key itself it only unlocks your door not the others @ same time and there is no unlock button in the car and you cannot hit the unlock button on the keyless entry b/c it wont work then.

Also is there a trunk button in the car or just the keyless entry and key and can anyone open the truck with the car running by pressing the keyless entry thing b/c that doesnt work for me either? These are the only 2 things that bug the heck outta me but i'm wondering if its me?

LOL any .02 would be appreciated.

It's you!! There's a trunk button at the top-left of the glove box. Only way to open while the car's running.

Passenger door--After you click to open the driver's door, click again to open the passenger door.

LOL... I never pay attn I dont pull anything outta the glove box..

Funny how I know where the secret compartment is but didnt see the truck button... well glad I could give ppl a chuckle.

You want another, the first time I filled up I couldnt find the button to pop the gas tank for 20 minutes i sat looking while talking to a friend and she thought about looking it up online for me, because at the time I couldnt find the manual since I didnt know about the secret compartment, I felt sooo stupid... but eh whatever I have those moments WAY to much I just try REALLY hard to avoid them if possible.

Hey guys i found a website called www.ikeyless.com they sell it for very low price like under $15.00. But then you need to program it from dealer. Do you guys have any idea how much dealer might ask for it?

Beware of ebay remotes. If it says "New" that's okay. If it says "Fully Tested" it is a used one that is in working condition. I found out the hard way. I emailed back the seller and told him that mine was working fine too, the day before it died.

If we're talking about the keyless remote fob, I got mine used from another S2000 member. It was really easy to program.

As far as the actual keys, I had one ground to the same pattern as mine, and found out that I could start the car with that key, but it was extremely difficult, and would only turn one out of about every 20 times I tried to turn the key, so now I just have the key I got with the car.

If you use your key, next time you turn the key to unlock your door hold it turned all the way for about 2 seconds, the other door will unlock.

Take it back to the person who made it. If he's a locksmith he can file it to work properly. Any time you have a key made, check it out before you leave. Not easy to make a car key properly.

That's one the reasons an alarm is nice. When I push unlock both doors unlock and whether or not the engine is running the trunk button on the alarm will open it.

I wonder how many know that there is a panic alarm on the fob. Good thing for the ladies to have, just in case. My wife showed me.

I did take the key back to him, and he didn't charge me for grinding it. He said he just wasn't sure if he could get it right with that particular key.
