Question headrest speakers install question

Has anyone installed headrest speakers in their S2K? I have an 04 does the stock radio have a plug in for the rear speakers? and if so do I have to get the cable from the dealer? Oops, I forgot to tell ya that I am not installing the OEM type headrest speakers.

What are you doing the s-pods I was recently thinking about doing this my self... do you have ap1 or ap2 99% sure ap2 is ready for rear speakers but ap1 is more of an ordeal to install, I would first get rid of the stock radio its pretty much junk

If you have an AP1 you can put in good door speakers and not bother with S-pods. Focal 165-K2P's can be installed in an AP1 and no other speakers are required.

I have been thinking about getting those... Do you run an amp with yours?

Yes I do. A 4 channel Phoenix Gold 475 Ti. It has 4 24 db/octave crossovers built in and I use them to actively drive the Focals This amp has a tested output of 503 watts and almost no distortion. If you do get Focal K2P's I can send you my installation tips.
