Lexol is the stuff used on saddles for million dollar race horses.

303 recommends Lexol for uncoated leather.

Having untreated leather in a convertible isn't a good idea. It would crack in a couple of years. I'm sure that our seats are coated, for longevity.

I kinda live in fear of the deep creases i see on the drivers outboard seat bolster. I think it's from getting in and out, and creasing the leather. This breaks down the coating and fatigues the leather underneath. That's my theory anyway. I have only 8000 miles on my 07 and don't have these creases yet. Does anyone have high miles and NOT have those creases? If so what has been you leather care regime. I just use 303 on mine and so far so good but I am not wild about the slipperyness.

Good thread to resurrect....why make a new one?
So, what's everyone using on our "leather" seats? I used to use a Meguiar's leather care product, but it was a bit greasy and turned out to be a dust magnet in some places. Now, I've been using 303, which seems to work pretty good. (Honestly, I think you can put this stuff on anything except the windows, and it'll work good). The ultimate car care product perhaps???

Been using Lexol but thinking about switching to 303. Does it make the seat slipperier?

The 303 makes the seat just a tad slippier, but only for a day or two. I like that it pretty much clears up in a short amount of time, while (apparently) not losing any of it's protective properties. I was never very fond of the greasy, glossy dashboards that you could practically shave in front of.

I'm a big fan of 303, especially on tires and plastic. Been using it for years on my motor home.

Ya i use meguiars Leather Cleaner then hit some meguiars leather conditioner. My leather is so soft and beautiful!!!!....

The conditioner works quite well to prevent creases and aging

Been using 303 but thinking about switching to Lexol.

The 303 may be doing what it claims to do, but my leather is still aging normally.

"Coated leather"? Don't know nuthin' 'bout that. It seems to me that our $8k seats are made from a not very robust, not very high grade leather. Now, I'm thinking the Lexol deserves a chance on my seats.

BTW, I've used the 303 on my soft top, which is forever in the "up" position. The 303 seems to be working okay there. Also, used it on the dash and door plastics.

Been using 303 on the seats and top. The best example of 303 I have seen on on my son-inlaws "67 Camaro. It has the original top that was showing it's age. 303 turned it black again an looks 200% better.
I only have 10,000 on my '07, so don't know if it is helping the seats or not. But it isn't as greasy as the Mcquires I was using before.

I find 303 works well on head and tail light covers.

303....great stuff. You can even use it as shampoo, shaving cream, and axle grease if you're in a pinch!

I have also used Zaino "Leather in a Bottle." It claims 40% sunscreen shield, but I would not bother with it again.

I have a Recaro Pro F1 SPG for the drivers seat. To recover it is not nearly as expensive as S2k leather.
