Hello guys.
How are you today? It is my first post, so i should introduce myself. My name is Tomasz, i知 polish. I own Toyota Supra MK IV TT (stock). Next year i would buy something younger (hopefully a brand new car). I知 not decided yet, but probably i will buy Honda S2000 2007 or Nissan 350Z 2007. I had in the past a few Honda痴 (and i enjoyed) so i will be pretty happy to own next one. I would own car at least the same fast as my Supra, so i will modify it when engine will be ready for it (6k mileage should be enough). I have a few questions (if you can help me i will be grateful): 1. I知 thinking about Comptech After-cooled Supercharger kit. How much horsepower at the crank it really makes on 5PSI? Is 350BHP realistic figure? Is gearbox enough strong to handle with such a power? 2. What i have to change to get 280BHP (at the crank) in N/A? 3. How much weigh: - leather seat - hood - the boot lid - door - air-conditioning - stock audio - soundproofing materials Is 1050kg in weight realistic figure? 4. What are you think about 2.2 Liter Stroker Kit? http://www.toda-europe.com/catalog/p...products_id=47 5. What other should i change for better acceleration? (Final ratio gear? Mechanical LSD? ???) Thanks Have a nice day. Tom PS Sorry for my poor english. |

Hi
I have turbo charged mine, and can highly recommend it. I have an every day driveable car that is incredibly quick. I am currently running 350hp at the wheels on 11PSI (I guess about 440hp at the crank), and running high 11s 1/4 mile at standard weight. I used a Garret GT3240 turbo, g-reddy ECU, tial 45mm wastegate, front mount intercooler and 3" turbo back exhaust system. I am running stock engine internals and compression ratio. Reliability is important, hence the low boost. If you want more, there are many tuners in Japan supplying strengthened engine internals that will allow you to crank up the boost. 600hp+ should be easily achievable. Have fun! |

wells hey the thng with the stroker kit is that why dont you just get a s2000 that already has it or just do what i did and put a biger engine in mine its alot faster but really i think you should just go with a turbo but if you wanna keep it sleeper then go for the stroker kit its funnyer when you beat other cars
