Post New guy from San Diego

Hi All,

Just joined up yesterday and am enjoying the posts. I bought my S2K about two years ago. I traded my 99 Jaguar XK8 in for a certified 03 S2K and I could not be happier. The Jag was a better curmpet catcher (wink, wink) but the S2K is a much better drivers automobile, especially when you are on the pipe.

The only upgrade I have put on is a K&N air filter. I would like to get a Comptec SC but with three teenagers at home disposable income is at a premium.

It is great to read all the good info folks have to say about our little auto.

One note, there is a track day at Laguna Seca on Jan 31 sponsered by the S2KCA club if you join up the day costs $225 just thought I would mention it for any CA S2K owners who would like to see how their auto's perform on the track.

Cheers,

Cosmo

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Aaaay Cos, glad to have you aboard.
A fortunate swap; the Jag for Stewie. Even if funds aren't readily available for mods, Stewie'll still provide smiles ta beat the band.
May the roads ahead be majorly twisty and devoid of traffic.
Be well.

Cosmo, I am actually the organizer for that Jan 31 track day. It is NOT an officially sponsored S2KCA event, and is partly the reason why I now post here and no longer on there. Currently, the novice group is sold out and there a just a few spots left in low intermediate, but plenty of room in high intermediate and advanced if you're interested.

Oh...and I live in Chula Vista.
