Smile New in Northern VA
Proud owner of a silver 2005. She's in really top shape, with a new top and pristine interior. Dropped on Tein springs. Bought it from the original owner.

Love this car, but it has the clicking in the rear that apparently is a common problem. I tried the axle nut tightening DIY today and couldn't get it to budge. I need to get a 3/4" drive with a long breaker.

I was actually, god forbid, thinking of taking it to the dealer. Any other NoVa S2K owners have a dealer service center they trust?

Welcome, there will be plenty of NoVa folks on...site not too active on the weekends. Nice looking car, see the previous owner like to come out to our beach.

For the axel nut you will definitely need a three or four foot extension after un-staking the nut. Oh, and nice S too!

If you want a dealer, try Russel at Landmark Honda. An honest service writer, doesn't try to sell you anything, doesn't rip you off. Non-dealer, I go to Skyline Automotive on Columbia Pike. For esoteric stuff, I go to Royal Service Center on Quaker Lane in Alexandria. Everyone there has raced or turned wrenches on cars that were raced or race now. See Jim there, he knows what he's talking about.

If you're able to get the right parts, it doesn't even take 5 minutes to tighten the axel nuts.

John, you need a lot more help than you're going to get here. I'd suggest you come back after doing some research.
