Hello all. I have a 2005 s2000 which I purchased about a year ago. I did as much research as well as test driving the Hondas and reliezed i wanted one. I went out on the net and found a red Honda certified 05 with 6000 miles in Joplin, MI. After about 60 emailed pictures and 20 conversations, I flew out and purchased the car. I have really enjoyed the car and wanted to know if there is anyone around the area that has performed any "reasonable" modifactions to the car such as supercharging or turbo charging. I have been very impressed with the cars performance but wanted to know what kind of difference it make with modifying the car. also does anyone know of some good tuners in my area.

Thanks for the help.

With a little more searching you can find threads related to boosting the S on this site.

Another mod that will increase performance that people like is to get a different set of rear end gears.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Welcome aboard fan. 'Godda ask though: are you certain that you're gettin' everything Stewie has to offer stock?
I, personally, don't get modin' the car if the car has performance that hasn't yet been tapped into.
But then I don't get Julia Roberts r' Sarah Jessica Parker either, so runnin' with the pack ain't never been one'a my strong points.
Whatever you choose to do, 'best of luck.
Be well.

Sorry for sounding uninteligent but what does "Stewie" mean? According to many of the posts, it seems that htat car has been tuned to the point that really only a supercharger or turbo will offer the best bang for the buck?

S 2=Stew, n' for my own, warped reasons, I felt obligated to nickname the li'l feller "Stewie". 'Godda admit . . I still like it. So, it's not anythin' that you could'a known about fan. Apologies for any confusion n' thanks for askin'.
As for goin' the supercharger/turbocharger route to extract more horsepower from the car: from what I've read on the site that seems an accurate assessment.
The general consensus has it that there's only about 10 to possibly 15 extra ponies available with the currently available "power" add-ons.
What that says to me is that Stewie's a pretty intense piece of equipment in stock form. I can live with that.
Be well.

There really is nothing wrong with staying stock. There are times when I wish I had stayed that way.
