er...... I'm new!!
Hi All
I’m new here – just brought (on Monday) a black 2001 S2K with 32k on the clock – live in the UK and I feckin love it - apart from the fact that the weather is doing nothing here but raining at the mo. Just a quickie – the UK is now starting to get the 2.5 litres Subaru’s through (instead of the 2.0s) even tho the States has been running them for years, and like the US 2.2 S2K’s does anyone think the UK will ever get 2.2 versions? Just wondering if anyone knew. Thanks and cheers for a great read. ![]() |

Welcome to the club and the site.
If you REALLY want the 2.2 you can buy one and an ECU and do a swap, but that's a lot of time and money for 9 lb. of tq.

Welcome aboard hop, n' best'a luck with your new ride.
Sorry to hear 'bout your current weather, but with a top that can go from one position to the other in jus' over 5 seconds, it does allow for quick cover if your assessment of the weather wasn't exactly spot-on. Stewie's ability to keep it's occupants relatively dry over 45/50 miles per hour with the top down doesn't take away from it's appeal either. Did we both jus' witness Go admittin' to extra (minimal, but extra) torque from the 2.2??? Where's my diary? As for mother Honda's plans for our little friend: Honda plays their cards very close to their chest. When they decide on a change, it seems that the usual way that we find out about it is when it shows up on the showroom floor. But, there are lots'a rumor mills, complete with fictitous articles to keep you guessin', so it doesn't get borin'. Be well. Java
