New S2000 owner

Hello all, I have been checking out this site for a while, so now that we have an S2000 I thought I would join up. I bought my wife a red 2002 S2000 yesterday for our anniversary coming up a week from tomorrow. I have it stashed in the parking garage at work right now until I spring it on her on 1/8. I had to go check on it a little while a go and take it for another spin. She is going to freak out when she sees it!!!

Lots of good information on here so I will be looking around even more.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Welcome aboard Soop, gettin' a bit of enjoyment out'a spinnin' li'l Stewie aroun', are ya? Have you experienced that stupid grin that we all wind up wearin' at one point r' another?
Best of luck with it to you n' your lady. It'll be interestin' to see if some "boundary disputes" don't rear their heads over who's gonna drive.
Wear it in good health n' keep us posted.

I guess if she can't deal with the difference in ride going from a '96 Lincoln Continental to an S2000, then I will get to drive it. Otherwise I will be parking my truck and taking over the Lincoln while she tools around in her S2000.

That's easy for you to say now. But, if you're already takin' it out for spins before she's even aware that it's in the stable, I'd say that it's already workin' it's way under your skin, whether you're aware of it r' not.
Whatever the outcome, glad fer yer company.

Hey Sammy, did you know it's a law that if husband buys car for wife he must keep it detailed! Ok, so it's not a law but it's a great way to show her that you love her!!!!

Many happy miles !

I won't mind keeping it detailed for her. It is half the size of her Lincoln so it should be easier and quicker. Plus I will ahve to drive it around the block.
