No S2000.... but I love them

I don't have the $$$ for one of these beautiful rides, but I do have a '95 Acura Integra.... I have plans for an outrageous engine swap(guess), which I hope to receive some good info. about on this site. If anyone is extremely knowledgeable in Honda ways, HELP ME!!!!

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Aaaay Nat! Welcome aboard.
I always thought that the Integras, stock, were pretty capable machines. 'Decent acceleration n' they get through the corners real good. 'Sounds like a driver's car to me.
Disclaimer time: I ain't overly knowledgable with the current stuff, but my concern would be tradin' the reliability of it in stock form for what could possibly (more often than not) be a swap that might take awhile or longer (sometimes alot longer) to sort the bugs out.
Whichever way you go, best of luck with it. Keep us posted.
Be well.

Thanks for the welcome.... since nobody seems to get it.... i wanna drop an f22c1 in my Integra (WHAT?????).... i heard a wonderful rumor that the 6spd transaxle from the Accord will bolt right up to the S2000 workhorse.... If that is true, with just a whole lot of time, money and LUCK, I can muscle the Frankenstein-like assembly under my hood.... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

If I were you, I'd forego the F22 in favor of a K24A overbored to 2.5L. Good power, better torque, similar cost, and likely an easier install.

The F-series motors are similar to the K-series in most respects, but the K motors are longitudinally mounted.

first off welcome to the site. now do yourself a favor and leave your integra stock. take it from someone who has been down that road. i had a 91 crx (my first car) with a fully built jun b16 motor about 12,000 grad in the motor, allmotor of corse. which i now wish i didnt cause the car was stolen when i moved to phoenix. anyways save your money, work hard and penny pinch and you will be able to buy your S2K in no time. youll be way better off turst me.

P.S. if you want a built b16 the insurance company was nice enough to let me take the engine out before they total'd it. ill give you a good price...

he's right no matter how much power you put in that Integra it'll still be front wheel drive, limiting it's performance potential.
