New member sounding off!

Hey guys, New member and new owner of my first Honda. And boy what a first Honda to own! I am very happy with the performance, and the obvious attention to detail Honda has endowed in this most venerable car. I have always watched them after I read in 2000 they had the worlds most powerful engine pound for pound. But the last little suttle changes they made in the 06 were enough to set them apart for me and the 2.2 litre engine is just a joy. I really like usually flashy colors in my car (I traded my Sunburst Orange 2006 Eclipse in for this bad boy) but the Silverstone Metallic was my choice this time because this car doesnt need any help to be noticed. I love the power, I live in Riverside California (southern) and work in Newport Beach. So I truly get the most enjoyment of fast motoring in the sun. God has blessed me and my wife and this is just another one of those blessings. Needless to say, I'm enjoying it. and for you young guys out there, I'm 24 years young, I get carded everywhere I go so it is possible. Oh and I'm black lol, just thought I'd throw that in. Hope to frequent the boards a bit, maybe find a local group to run with on the weekends. Look forward to meeting with you guys.

Hey whatsup. I approve your choice in paint color for the S! Hope you can find a group to ride around with come this spring and summer.

Welcome to the site. I spent a few years in Riverside (LONG before you were born I am afraid to say) and many years in So Cal. That is one heck of a drive you have to work each day.

Yeah I know, but I enjoy every minute of it. I dont know how long its been since you've been in this area, but we have quite a few toll roads now that stay relatively free of traffic most times. It takes me about an hour to get to work and about an hour and a half to get home. Not bad and the benefits outweigh the deficits. Besides, if you live in Riverside the only places to work is LA or somewhere in the OC. At least that garner the type of salary that would afford you to drive an S2k lol. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Definitely bro, I cant wait! I've been checking out youtube and all the runs and meets is just really exciting stuff to see that many of our cars in one place. Whats the better clubs and meets to attend HOW?

"Whatever you do, where ever you go, enjoy the drive." I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!! After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
