Lucky Lady

I just bought my 2000 S2000. I walked into it at a local used car dealer while looking for a comfortable, sensible 4 door to drive. I had a '62 Datsun 1600 Fairlady back in the early 70's (I'm old) and this is my old Roadster reincarnated with improvements that only 38 years of technology can provide! What a kick, this car is awesome, finding it was meant to be. It is also the same color as my '62 Datsun, just updated. It is real low milage (33k) and it looks like it's never been out in the rain. Boy, I'm going to enjoy this ride.

By the way, I'm the Butterpatlady because I collect the pretty little china plates (butterpats) that used to be provided with dinnerware sets. Look them up on eBay if you are curious.

Welcome aboard 'Lady. Yeah, it's lots'a fun innitt? N' you're not alone: it seems that there're more than jus' a few of us that're realizin' what we've been missin' by goin' without our roadsters for some years.
The very best of luck with it. Wear it in good health. (N' keep a short leash on yourself until you learn it's n' your limits)
Be well.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Good Idea

I'll heed the "short leash" advise. This car handles so tight, I'm a little intimidated, but not much. Don't think it will take me long to drive it the way it is meant to be driven. Really though, it can be pretty tame in in-town congestion, but give me a couple of car lengths and I'm off like a rocket! I've got some questions, think I'll move over to other forums. Thanks everyone and be safe.
