hello theere, i just decided to join the forum prior to buying the car so i can have some knowledge on the car and i can start modding and tuning right after i purchase it. im definatly buying a 2004 + (ap2) and i just test drove one at the local honda dealership, i love it to say the least. i just sold a couple cars i had, which included a 1998 eclipse gsx with over 300hp(i used to be a dsm guy). i found however when i test drove the s2k (2003) ap1, it had very little torque...im almost positive a nice size garret turbocharger would change that though. anyways i have just over 20,000 as of now, a month or two more of saving and ill be ready to purchase an s2k. its either gonna be white or black...maybe silver. question, i live in canada (british columbia) and im going to be importing the s2k from seattle. how much should i be spending on a 2004 s2k, around 20 or 30XXX miles? thanks and i look forward to being a part of this forum.

Welcome to the site and good luck on the purchase. As for the cost of the car, it depends on a lot of different factors; miles on the car, condition of the car, service records, etc. Unfortunately, we are getting into the time of year when convertable prices tend to go up a little due to the weather change.

Thanks for the welcome, and I understand how the prices to go up a bit before summer. Im thinking about 21,000USD should be enough, and im going to be buying privately which will cut the cost down a bit...

Thanks Java, I hope to contribute as much as I can. Ive never been a honda fan, but the s2k feels and looks like a racecar...very underrated car if i must say so.

Trust me Spoon . . you ain't the only one who never figured on bein' on the inside'a somethin' wearin' an "H" insignia on the bodywork.
(I've been tryin' to convince friends n' neighbors that it's the very rare Ford "H" model. 'Don't appear to be havin' much luck though)

Haha amen to that, my friends couldnt believe it when I told them I sold my 2 cars and buying a Honda...Im definatly buying those aftermarket emblems to replace the H...=P

I think you should prepare yourself to pay about $23-24k for an '04. My buddy spent $23k on a pristine '02 a few months ago. It had 7k miles on it.
