Question looking to buy a S2 just dont know what year?

Hey everyone i just got rid of my integra Type R and im now looking on picking up a S2000 but im not too familiar with them i know the 9,000 RPM redline stoped with the 03's because of the Displacement upgrade but i also hear 04 and up has permanent traction control? is that true? I also hear the 2.0 liters start burning oil pretty early in life. im not too fond of traction control. Any suggestions will help alot. Thanks

i have a 01 but i think an 02-03 would be the good years you should get.

We've got lots'a posts that dwell on exactly what you're askin' Fernando. Get a cuppa coffee, get comfortable n' browse.
What I will offer up is that the high revs r' not what gets the job done, so don't let that muddy your choice.
N' there's some stories of oil burnin', but they're not the norm.
The traction control didn't start with the '04s. Later.
Be well, n' like the old knight said . . . . choose wisely.

The good news is that you can always turn the traction control off.
