New member, old owner.
Well, after a long while lurking around, I have decided to register.
I bought my S2000 new on Sep 29, 1999. I don't drive it much, in fact, I just recently replaced my rear tires (with S-03's). The car is silver/ black and all stock. Current mileage is 19,880. It is a USDM model. |

Welcome. You have a keeper there with such low miles. I would guess you also have a low build number.

gomarlins3, I will surely be keeping this car for a while. #0004XX- 6/99.
Java Junky, You're right, I don't have much time to myself these days. The car sits in storage under a cover waiting...and waiting. I will post pics when I get a chance to. mbc. |

Thanks, If you look carefully, you can see my old Accord. I kept that car forever...all the way to 500,122 miles. It had been in the family since new. Here is a link to a poor quality video of the event.
YouTube - Honda Accord 500,000 miles! I know that this is a S2000 website, but at least it's a Honda. Here's it's story. Honda and Acura High Mileage Stories I figure that after 20 years worth of driving on the S2k, it will have about 55,000 mi. |

Ya know mb . . considerin' the fine shape it's in n' it's low build number . . maybe it should stay mostly in the garage . . while you go out n' play in a more common Stewie.
N' 500 thou on the elder Honda? Wow! Hmmmm-m-m-m-m . . . . at it's current rate'a use, your hanger-queen '99's gonna see that mileage when we all got calendars on our walls whut say 2207. Be well. Java

Ya, the garage is its home.
I stay on top of the maintenance and drive it for about 40 miles every 2-3 weeks. The undercarriage is still clean because it's a fair weather car. |

An update.
This month marks the 9th year of my car's existance (6/99). So I drove it around for a while and put over 100 miles on it! Since the above pic was taken (last July) my car and I have traveled a mere 700 miles. Current mileage is 20,432. Fresh fliuds as always... Sheesh, 9 years already? mbc |

I got mine in Oct 99 and it's got 100113 on it and thousand of $ of Mugen parts. It's way better than it was in Oct. 99.
