Hey guy, let me be the first to welcome you aboard !

Tis a nice place, friendly and all, just not as much traffic as S2ki.

Arizona, now there's a state where you can drive Stewie all year 'round.

That has all'a earmarks'uv'a year-roun' Stewie ta me, y'know?
'Lookin' forward to yer input Cy.
Be well,
Java

I'm with Java, winter shoes keeps Stewie pointed straight in the powder. Chicago's a place to drive year round too, just not with the top down

After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Con . . . ya don't know whu'cher missin'.
'Z'long'z ya dress for it, drivin' with the top down in the winter'z somethin' you're gonna wonder why ya didn't start sooner.
If it ain't pourin' 'r if it's serious cold, the top'z down . . 'r, at least as down azzitt'll go. (A good gauge'a when it's gettin' cold is when the front top rail handle is visible in the rearview. Drive aroun' fer a bit n' at the first light throw the E-brake up n' the top'll be more willin' ta snug down)
I'm addicted. (N' probably certifiable too, but that's another topic)
Be well,
Java

Welcome to the site,
As I just came back from takin stewie out for a stretch - balmy 32 here I'm not so sure about takin his lid off just yet, maybe I'll wait for sum more snow to see what kind of looks I get. Boy did it feel good to get out in the car, almost makes relocating a serious consideration.

Cheers

Java's right, I'm riding on winter Kooks (Hankook W300s) so I'm ready for the white stuff. It's 365 for me and my Stewie.

I shuda said when welcoming our new Arizona friend cbrguy7, that - Arizona is a great place for year 'round TOP DOWN driving !

Just a dream for us Joisey boys & girls !

Welcome cbr, we desert folk definately get more top-down than most... Down to 40 this evening but the Honda heater kept all that out below the hair line anyway... Brr, feels like low 30s now here, might need a hat...

Yep, when you move to the desert they give it to you to try to save your scalp. So usually I just wear a visor to kill the glare, and of course, get sunburned scalp anyway...

Wait, I thought that's what this was? Drive during the day, therapy here at night when my wife wants me safe at home, so this makes up for it...

Dogs'll do that, but eventually they'll bow to your conviction n' fade off to snore in some less busy n' lighted area (if you're occupyin' their personal area n they're really pissed, that area might be the bed that you should be snorin' in).
Yup. Therapy'z where ya find it n' this qualifies.
Actually, 'Roo'z use'ta my sometimes zero-dark-thirtys. He'z off in'a breezeway rattlin' the windows with izz snorin'. Well, it's either that'r there'z a plow comin' down the street draggin' izz blade . . . n' since we got no snow . .

Yep, they're smart about that, unlike us... Snow plow, that brings back a memory... I grew up in northern Nevada where it does flurry now and then (don't miss the windshield scraping) and remember the first time I got up and had to get over the plow's mound across our driveway. Being a kid I figured blasting through it in reverse would be quicker than trying to shovel it away, so of course I spent the morning shoveling away the snow under my bottomed-out car...
