Hello, my name is Kyle and I bought an '03Silverstone S2K just before Thanksgiving. I found this site while researching the S2K and you guys seem to know what you're talking about.

Silverstone eh? An indication of suave sophistication Kyle. My compliments.
If it seems like we know what we're talkin' about, it's only because you've only skimmed the surface. Nah. 'Only kiddin'. We're fortunate to have, as members, some extremely capable diagnosticians, who, no doubt, will be along shortly to also say hi. So welcome aboard Kyle n' 'best'a luck with your new ride. If you get through the familiarization stage'a learnin' jus' whut you n' Stewie're capable of, you're doon aces. 'Lookin' forward to your input. Java

Welcome Kyle, you came to the right spot. I loved my 03 Silverstone. Hmm, I traded it in around October...

Welcome aboard, great choice of car. I'm going to have to knock points off for the color. This has been discussed at great length, and while there isn't full agreement on it, yellow is the fastest color. Has to do with it being a lighter color, so less pigmentation, less weight, you get the idea. By that logic, you would argue that white would be the fastest, but white S2Ks are a myth, and no one has ever seen them, except when drunk and claiming to have a huge white horn on the front.
I assure you I am not an expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn express. All in good fun. c |

Welcome Kyle. You're gonna love the car. Just so you understand some of the common misconceptions regarding colors..................
I've done an enormous amount of research on this: Blue is fastest. (any blue....it don't matter.) Black is next. (slightly slower due to being dirty all the time.) Then "silver" (I think it's called something else, but it's silver.) The yellow and red are slowest. (they are de-tuned at the factory because those are the colors most popular with women buyers.) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
