New s2k owner!

Hey whats up. I just bought my 2nd s2k!! The 1st one I bought I got it april of 05 then I traded it with only 4k miles.....

I got a truck.....but I still has a itch for a s2k. So finally I went ahead and bought a pre-owned one on 1-1-08!!

It is a 2001 model with 77k miles

It has many things that this one needs work on though.

Need a new top, wheels and tires and a clutch!!

Just thought someone would like to here my story....

See ya around the forums!!

Congrats on the re-buy.
What do you think of the older AP1 model vs your original AP2? Likin the 9k redline?

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Carlos,

I have been a salesman with honda for almost 7 years now and now i am finally a manager. I FINALLY got mine!! Mine has more miles than yours but I am happy I had a really good guy in my service department add a ap214 top with the window in the back. He said it was easy. Its a direct bolt in but you must back bar so the top will not close on the glass. the u have to tie them together with some sort of bands. I am currently trying to find twenty in racing wheels for it but it seem impossible. I wish you luck with yours. And it kinda feels good to tell someone my story. If I can help you or if you can help me find wheels I will appreciate it.

THanks for reading,

Charles Adams

Same here, welcome back! But as someone who went the other way, I'm also really interested in your opinion of the other AP.

Yeah, its a little different. This one even sounds a little louder and its bone stock...

I haven't really been able to get on it cause it needs a clutch. I'm glad I do have one again though.

Thanks to all for replying!

Good luck with your projects. Remember to search the forum for parts before you go spending a bunch of money somewhere else.

Bringin' a car back to where it should be ain't a bad thing at all. Gets you more familiar with it than you would be if it was intact when you got it.
I'm sure that while you're workin' on it, your knuckles're bleedin' n' the blood's runnin' oud'a yer arms so ya feel like yer arms're goin' spaghetti on ya, well the wisdom'a fixin' up yerrown might be lost at that particular moment.
But when it's all together, everything'z doon whut it's 'post'a be doon . . ya can't beat that satisfaction Closer.
'Best'a luck with your new ride n' the work involved n' keep us posted,
Java
