New in New Bern, NC

Just bought my red 2008 S2000 yesterday - just wish it were warmer so I could take the top down. This replaces a very boring 2005 Accord Hybrid (I was on a brief green kick), which replaced a string of red convertibles - 2000 Volvo c70, 1995 Honda Del Sol, 1989 Celica. This thing blows away the Volvo, which was turbo charged. I'm loving the 6-speed transmission - I "win" at every stop light. I feel like I'm actually DRIVING again, rather than being a passenger in my own car. This inside is reminiscent of the Del Sol, which I loved, but otherwise, there is no comparison.

Nick, don't say "ticket".

Welcome Amy, now go find the secret compartment. Usually you'll find the owner's manual there. Then read about engine break-in.

I thought that only folks in Red Stewies had to worry about that.

THANKS!

Thanks, all, for the welcoming words and advice! Don't worry - I haven't needed to get anywhere close to red-lining, yet - there is plenty of giddy-up in the permitted rpm range. As for the secret compartment - some secret - for some reason, that's the first thing my salesman showed me!

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Hah good for you, I had to show my sales guy how to start it... and how to put the top down... and how to open the trunk... Learning for both of us! Cudos to your salesman, that's how to sell this critter!
