dc5 to ap2

hey whatsup guys, im from the clubrsx forums. i traded my '06 rsx-s for a '04 s2000 about 2 weeks ago with no regrets! im a pretty young guy (20) and i was really worried about insurance being too high on this car, but it is actually $65 cheaper on a 6month period than with my dc5! im loving the car, backseats are over-rated.. even in my rsx i wouldnt let more than 1 passenger ride with me, and i would never think of having sex in my car. this is my first roadster convertible and its never been my style, but the s2k changes everything!! i love that it doesnt look like a girly miata or even porsche boxter(imo), it looks very mean for a clowncar and i love that! also love driving with the top down, and im counting down the days till spring!

anyways, heres some pics of my car, and in the 2weeks that ive owned the car i have had the windows tinted at 35%, replaced the stock speakers with alpine type-s and ordered a t1r titanium sphere shift knob.

Nice ride! I wasn't too big of a fan of convertables either before I bought mine. Heck even now when its 20 degrees I'll try to pop in a ride or 2 every so often with the top down. Im a younger owner too. 19. Got a great deal with a good loan.

Nice pics. I wish my garage was as big as yours. BTW, I see the tire marks, careful of those walls, I don't think they'll move.

Aaaay o4, owyadoon?
Welcome aboard. Yeah, realizin' whu'cha been missin' ridin' in tin cans all'ose years is definitely a wake-up call. N' couldn't agree with ya more about the Madison Ave. over-hype of the "back-seat".
Jus' make sure you gedditt out in some serious twisties. Not yer garden-variety local couple'a turns: serious stretches'a road with a serious exercise regimen for the upper torso.
Once you experience Stewie in'a Stewie-appropriate environment, it makes clear whut it's all about n' much'a the time saves you gob'z'a money on "mods" that it don't need.
Does me ol' 'eart good ta hear you guys talkin' 'bout droppin' it in the cooler weather. So many folks have a hard time realizin' that that'z so dooable.
'Godda admit though, like DJJ, I'm also sufferin' from garage-envy. Your'z is so much bigger'n mine.
Be well,
Java

definetley bro, i was putting so much money down on aftermarket stuff for the rsx, and everytime i brought it in for warrenty work ide have to take everything off! and rsx's have major tranny problems, so i got fed up after 1 year of ownership and got rid of it. i love the fact that i dnt need to spend a buncha money trying to upgrade stuff on this car, its well built already, but i am still planning on doing some cosmetic stuff, like an apr or oem front lip, and an oem rear decklip. planning on swapping the intake and definetly the exhaust. the stock exhaust feels like its restricting the beast!

thanks everyone, i been messing around on a couple of s2k forums and im liking this one the best, you guys are definetley a more intelligent crowd than the other guys!
