welcome to the site and good luck getting your s2000! you will love it hands down. so what are you planning to do with it??? auto X or (ahem..) racing? cuz uh, yeah, racing is not the greatest topic here...too many issues when it comes to talking $**t unless its kinda random...and mature...we are not S2KI.com but this is the best site for info and random humor...welcome again and u should trade ur civic in now for an s2k...life IS short...and so is the summer...lol

i would!! but i got my car only about 5 months ago. i love it, its just not fast enough... so thats my predicament. i either want to mod it heavily (k24a1 swap/turbo)-(weekend/racecar), or just enough to make it a bit quicker... but still able to trade it in in a few days if i wanted, and keep it as a daily driver. i think im going with the racecar option, and i thought the s2000 would be much more of a.. well.... BALLIN' ride. civics are everywhere, i get a lot of attention with my si because people don't know what it is lol, but the s2000 is just a different animal. convertible... sports car... quite a different personality. im excited... but i think im going to wait til i have a career ahead of me instead of this shaky job that just pays well. im still only 20!

i wouldn't say it's tricked out.. i personally find that phrase to be particularly "ricey" lol. i prefer tastefully modded. haha. but i like my car because it's kinda rare, or so i like to think. maybe more-so unique. im falling in love with s2000's the more i look at them and things i could do to one partswise. that kraftwerks SC kit looks simply amazing..

i was on the spoon website today, looking at the n1 exhaust... whoa. i have the n1 muffler on my EP3 and it sounds soo good. but the dual exhaust, and maybe even the exhaust mani.... gives me goose bumps lol.

Good luck on your future purchase of an S. Good idea to wait until you have a career rather than just a job, there is a HUGE difference.

Tastefully modded is always nice IMO.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
