Was just playing around, the only picture that I have
of my car. Will have to take another with the top down
and maybe remove the plate also when I get a chance.

I hate the front plate but around here it is a great excuse
for them to pull you over if you don't have it and give you
a ticket!

Same here in CA. I've had mine for over 6 years and carry the plate in my trunk.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I have black Velcro on the horizontal part of the grille and on the back of the plate. If I get a tickie, I put it on and get it written off at the station. Then back in the trunk it goes. You don't want to put it on in front of the cop that's giving you the ticket though, it is supposed to be attached to the car with some sort of fastener like screws, etc.

i never wear the front plate, and patching the holes and repainting the front cover is on my to do list. i think i'll cover up the tow hook cover too, make it all smooth, ya. Gotta love Nevada, last of the wild west, but calipornia is slowly creeping in.

Yep, gotta cover the holes - NV says you only need a front plate if you have a mount for it. BTW, there are some cool cover plugs that I've been considering instead of filling the holes, sorry I don't have the link but some people here have them.
Now Arizona doesn't even issue a front plate - they've got it.

Perfect cover plugs came with the car upon purchase. Ontario requires both plates.
They are rectangular with rounded corners. Colour coded.
