hey guys, i am looking to purchase an early model s2000. i did some reading and was told there were minor differences between 00-03 models. can anyone list what these are? my main concern is with first year production problems. surprisingly enough, i was told that they were all equally reliable in terms of the engine and transmission. any model year to avoid at all? price is a factor, since i'm trying to justify spending $$$ on a roadster in a down economy, haha.

as a background, i'm coming from owning two z32 300zx's, both nonturbo (222hp) and twinturbo (300hp modified to 400hp). i've never driven the s2000 so cant say if i would like the power but everyone seems to rave about them, so its sparked my curiosity =) do share!

just get an 03... its obviously the newest ap1 you can find.
