I am using mobil 1 extended life for 15000 miles. is the normal mobil 1 oil better than exteded life. and does it really protects for 15000 miles. thank you.

I'm not sure about the mobil 1 extended life specifically, but i know most of those "long-lasting" oils actually just put more additives in it which actually might get into toher parts (like your cats). Also, the use of these oils voids some warranties.

I use Mobil1 and change it every 5,000 miles. I don't see a reason to chance it for 15,000.

"Whatever you do, where ever you go, enjoy the drive." I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!! After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
