I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Not to stir up any crap here, but you know, if I stole a car and wanted to sell it, the last place I'd advertise it would be eBay. The first place anyone who had a clue would look would be on eBay. Now, that's not to say that people who steal things are geniuses (or even smarter than the average box of hammers) but I think even thieves have a modicum of intelligence (after all the S isn't the easiest car to steal)

Here's more on this. Just turn to page 7. Looks to me like a 350Z. Not sure about the rear either.

Every car that'z ever gotten me to siddupp'n pay attention'n that'z been "improved" (by the suitz that actually get paid t'doo that kind'a thing) has invariably been taken afield from the original spec'n traitz whut made it noteable.
Whenever they talk'uv "improvin" Stewie, two thingz come'ta mind:
1) The song "Another One Bitez the Dust", n'
2) Startin'a look fer a low-mileage replacement AP2 fer my current Stewie ta stash in'a back'a the garage until such time'z it'z needed.

I really like it, but doubt that it's a replacement for the S2000. Most noticeably because of the very short front end.

The next time you open the hood of your car, look at the location of the engine. It is entirely behind the centerline of the front axles. That's the key to getting near perfect weight distribution front to rear.

If the car in that picture has the engine behind the front axles, number 4 cylinder is in the cupholder.

Its very likely that this was just a design study that never made it through an engineering department.

If any of you are interesteed in automotive engineering check this out, http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...24456318931568

Its a long video and not very thrilling, but very interesting and gives a good insight into the great car.

If you visit the U.K. auto show , it reveals more photos of the above vehicle. The rear end looks like a 350z

I suppose, if I had never seen a beautifull roadster before, and grew up with them, and currently own one (07S2k), I might like that mitsuyotasanaudi thing.
But I have, did, do and I don't!
