SoCal S2000 gets horribly vandalized

Now the worst of all
...

Turbo destroyed
Oil feed cut
Vtec sil. beaten off
Fuel inj broken off
radiator punctured
inter cooler pluming missing
BOV missing
alot of other sh*t missing

and worst of all

after completing my engine with brian crower complete valve parts and stroker kit..

An extreamly corosive liquid was poured into my engine
and to top it all off insurance told me to **** off on getting rembersed on mods

Wow that sucks man. Odd, last night on the news there was a very similar vandalism in Los Alamitos in OC. A white van was spray painted with swastikas and raciar slurs on all sides.

O yea and buy the looks of it i think its some one that has a honda or an s2000 for one they knew where the gas cap button was and seems like they targeted the vtec sil so if you have eny close people with a honda or s2k that dont like you id be looking at them

I sincerely hope you find these people. Hopefully you will before the cops do. Im not a big fan of the racism after having to deal with it myself. Racism is alive and sick. There are folks who have nothing going for them in life, so they get together and find reasons to hate people who aren't like them. There has been an upsurge in antisemitism lately, possibly brought on by the rantings of the far right.

In a perfect world people would be judged for who they are, rather than what what they are. Unfortunately the world is less than perfect.

I presume this happened in Texas. I have heard some of the talk radio down there, so am not too surprised. Although it happens here as well. Swastikas sprayed on temple doors etc. It would be nice if they catch the scum and put them away where they can hate each other. But that's probably wishful thinking.

This happened in southern Cali. It came from a forum in Cali. Someone on my local car forum posted to spread the word to help catch whoever did it. I'm just tryin to spread the word as well. The more people that know, the more likely the person responsible will get caught

Sorry, didn't mean to offend Texas. I have 2 daughters in Seguine. Mostly I find the people warm and hospitable. I was referring to the hate talk I heard on the radio down there. Some of those guys refer to themselves as church leaders. They're distorting Christianity the same way the so called keepers of the Muslim faith do it much harm.

This was in Victorville, CA. There are two or three threads on s2ki about it. Supposedly one of the nicer neighborhoods in VV, certainly one where nobody would expect this sort of thing.

Stuff like this makes my blood boil. There aren't very many people whom I'd genuinely like to hurt, but the people who did this are on that short list.

Didn't mean to insult Texas. Remember the a la mode! Every region has their share of the mentally deficient. Having dealt with a multitude of ethnicity I have strong feelings about bigotry. WE ran in to some nasty remarks in Maine when our CA plates were spotted. They took our money OK though.

Racism and bigotry certainly can be found here, too. But it's been my experience that everywhere you go, you just can't get away from slack-jawed neanderthals (even if they do have a New-England accent)!

None of us knows for a fact what motivated the a-holes to do what they did. But I'd place a large bet that says it wasn't a random act conducted by conservative Christians who'd been stirred up by talk radio from Texas. I think Phil's comments may be a case of "once bitten, twice shy". A crime like this happens, and the next thing you know, we're rounding up the usual suspects.


Anyway... as an aside... Jagg, I appreciate your comment. Everyone knows that Phil is one of several core members that make this the great site that it is. We don't always agree politically, but I think there's something to be said for being able to disagree without being disagreeable. Hopefully that's how my comments are being taken.

I've found that there seems to be a pretty even distribution of whackjobs throughout the world. Some areas, more people can get away with it, though.
