S2K Megameet?
Hey Dudes and Dudettes I ran into a fellow S2K owner and he asked me if I was going to the megameet, I had no idea what he was talking about. Well I guess S2KI is having one, so are we invited? Does anyone know about this?

It has a finite number of openings, and fills up within an hour of registration opening.

If it is anything like the S2000 Homecoming that Honda put on, that would be a blast.

I searched "mega meet 2009" on s2ki and found a thread that was last posted in 2/09. I don't know if anything is planned. I'm in California and will go if something is here.

Well I think we should start are own Mega-Meat! What about the end of Summer, that would give everyone a chance to plan on coming. And NO LIMIT to who comes! What do you think.

Depends on how many sign up. There are a lot of people that do car meets because they love them, but there are others who are hurting monetarily now-a-days.

Plus the meet is "S2k day's San Francisco" And the hotel is San Ramon for the convenience of the organizers. If you want to go to SF it will take about 1.5 hours depending on traffic. And there will be no place to park more than a couple cars unless your on the Great highway. If you want to go some truly great drives, it will take at least an hour of freeways to get to the start.

Well Guy's I was thinking more along the lines of a small fee to cover some food and drinks. I might contact Galpin Honda in the San Fernando Valley and see if they want to get involved with maybe having a lot big enough to hold a large meet. The way of some FREE advertisement for them might turn some heads. I need some more in put so spread the word on some other sites to see if this will be worth doing.

Chaz, I would rather organize a SoCal meet than see you put a dime out to go to S2KCA's SF event. It will cost you $40 just to join, another $100 to go and that does not cover any travel or hotel costs. Waste of money on a sh!tty club.

Maybe we should plan something the same weekend as S2KDays, just so we pull more people from SoCal and ruin their attendance...lol

Here's a brand new intelligent poster. It's probably some loser from s2kca who was told by someone that I wrote something negative about club run by a bunch of people who will turn on you in a heartbeat.
Hey buddy, I'll grow up when you get a clue. Until you know the true reason for my animosity, piss off. EDIT...This is either Sondra or Davo. My guess is that it's Sondrama because she is a coward and has to hide behind a screen name.

You want a mega-meet, show up at the Hilton Garden Inn in Gettysburg on August 15. That's the Gettysburg Get Together. Drives start at 9:00am with the drivers meet at 8:45. Drive is 3.5 hours with a trip through parts of the battlefield and lots of great driving road. Dinner starts at 6:30 with the cocktail hour and food is at 7:00pm. Cost for the dinner is $25 which is all inclusive with the exception of alcohol. There will be a cash bar. There was a special rate for hotel rooms but you missed it.
