Old Saybrook run to Dock & Dine
Hi Joyce and anyone else passin by that may be interested.
 This Saturday, 8-2-08, is lookin good so far weatherwise.  The better half and I are thinking about getting down to the Dock & Dine in Old Saybrook at the point. Directions at the link, click it... Thinking to arrive at the Dock & Dine later in the afternoon, late lunch, early dinner... Somewhere between 1 and 3 depending when we can leave. If the weather holds up and we go we can meet others somewhere and drive as a group or meet there. We can firm up a time if there is interest amongst us... I know the area well and will lead a drive through the area if anyone is interested in that. Slow drive so no one gets separated or ticketed!

I've always said 24 hours in a day just ain't enuf! Have fun everyone. I know we will. I'll think'a y'all whilest I'm munchin' on my nice fresh seafood! Give this ol thread a bump...
Took the S out for a ride today since the roads were mostly dry. Stopped for gas, when I was pulling out of the station I noticed someone was taking a picture of my car. COOL! Great to have an S!

So here's one for this Saturday if they don't waffle or chicken out...
 Steve's crazy Chicken and Waffle meet (w/o Bill), Featuring Lainey and Rick!!! Not sure yet if I'll make it. Depends on the weather and the ol lady...  Oh and since Bill chickened out I'm waiting to see if Steve waffles on the date. It's been predicted and so it may come to pass...

Anyone going to this drive? I'd post info but I keep having trouble linking up with the site tonight. Anyone know what's up with their site this evening?
When they get the site problems straightened out I'll post a link and info to this drive. Did the drive last year. It's a good drive and meet. Here's a link to S2KI New England. Look under drives and meets. There's a dedicated thread for this drive as well.

You really don't want to miss this drive! If ya can't make it to the starting point we'll end up in Litchfield center for lunch, maybe between 11 and noon? I'm not sure which restaurant but if you use Aspen Garden (restaurant) as a GPS location you'll be in the right spot, there are a couple restaurants in the Litchfield center. Quote:

Check the link for updates. Sundays weather looks a bit iffy but it looks to be a go so far! As of now I'm in! This IS THIS Sunday, May 3rd. Meeting at HOOTERS 11:45 am. Arrive early to get gas, hang out, talk car or HOOTERS, maybe go in early for some eyeball apetizers... Whatever, it's always a good idea to arrive early. For the GPS folks: Plug in this address - Hooters of Milford 990 Boston Post Rd. Milford, CT 06460 203-878-6651 If anyone would like to meet up earler for the drive to HOOTERS from The Central CT area we can discuss that. I sometimes meet people at The Whole Donut located at 2 Burlington Ave. Bristol, CT. We can have our morning coffee, maybe a donut, everything's good there then drive off as a group. Maybe have additional meeting points along the way to make joining up and driving down as a group easy for many. The Litchfield drive was great so if ya missed it and have been kickin yourself join in on this one. You'll be glad you did!

Looks like the MOHAWK TRAIL DRIVE is cancelled. Check the link in the previous post to be sure. As of this posting it was canceled but others may pick it up, ya never know...
