I wonder what it is? I'm sure that they wouldn't go thru wrapping the car up if it wasn't something special. How can we figure out what it is?

I think they just taped it up to keep it from falling apart. They gotta save money and tape is cheaper than bolts.

Good eye for the test mule! They carefully cover the areas they call styling cues, those recognizable bits that are usually distinctive to that car. Sometimes you can just tell what model anyways if the styling didn't change too much that year.
It kind of looks like a cop from some angles, the kind we have out here with the b/w paint job.
