Anything Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Jimmy Buffett, Gary Hoey, or ZZ Top.

Gypsy Kings CD went into the chamber the day I bought the car n' ain't come out since.
P.S. Three things that I've noticed since first respondin' to this post: 1) if the top's down the Kings're doin' their thing, 2) If the top's up I'm usually into the radio: big band, long-hair, blues, jazz n' the occasional country-western, 3) if I'm comin' to a particularly enjoyable set of twisties that I'm planin' on extractin' the most pleasure from: mute button. Be well. Java

Gotta be Disturbed, Godsmack, Pantera...etc. I hear that metal and my foot just squeezes down a tad harder and the blood pumps a bit faster. Plus it really pisses off other folks...LOL Loud and fast.

Haven't had a chance to drive mine with the top down yet (just bought it and it's winter here). But judging by my previous roadster playlist preferences...
pretty much anything positive - some 70's funk (Curtis Mayfield, The Meters, Commodores, Willie Hutch etc.), classic rock, electronic and old school hip-hop. There's no real distinction for me between stuff that I would listen to at home or on the road. |

I listen to a very wide variety of music. The only things I can't listen to are gangster rap, country, and new age. Anything else I will tolerate, or even enjoy.

for me it's got to be some good rock'N'roll Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Little Richard, Social Distortion, the Stray Cats, Brian Setzer Orchastra, and San Diego's finest Rocket from the Crypt, and The Sultans and some good punk rock like Bad Relgion, DK, Black Flack, the Misfits and good stuff like that

I start my car with Cardigans - My Favourite Game song, It was featured in Gran Turismo 2, which made me fell in love with the car. anyhow, other soundtrack from the game such as Garbage's I Think I'm Paranoid is also gives me good feeling when I'm driving, it's like playing Gran Turismo in real life. anyhow some good electronica/dance/house music puts me into really good feeling driving mood. anyone listening those tunes?
oh yeah, some good ol' funky music sounds really goood too! |

I have yet to experience top down driving in the summer, but I can imagine it. During the day I can see some classic rock and oldschool rap, but at night the only thing that comes to mind are breakbeats and rave.
Daytime: Alice Cooper The Doors Pink Floyd Clapton Rush Van Halen G'n'R Beastie Boys Run DMC Snoop Nighttime: DJ Tiesto MTM Delerium DJ Santana Various Club mixes Any track that sounds cool |

Revivin' an oldie (In more ways'n one) but this mornin' I noted that Dinah Washington'll mellow me down on the straights.
'Fraid she's jus' goddda white knuckle it n' hang on like everybody else when it comes to the corners though. Ya jus' don't get romantic lyrics like "meaner'n 20 mules" anymore, y'know? Be well. Java

Love reggae, great for all around cruisin'. But when I'm kicking it down: Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, Rainbow, UFO, Queensryche, Scorpions, ABBA (just kidding about the ABBA). In the twisties, mute. I love to hear the vtech sing.
Music tells a lot about us, eh? I'm a Dead Head by default, though. (I just don't have any live GD cd's though) |

Hey Action, doesn't matter that it's winter, put the damn top down. Our heaters work so well, you could burn your hands. So some people might look at you funny, but hell, you're cool, you're driving an S! At least try it a couple of times, it could be fun. Especially if it's snowing. I've driven in the rain and people look at me like "WTF ?" It's great on the freeway when you're cruising fast enough that the rain goes over the top. Stoplights suck though.
