For my 05 ninja and 03 S2k I am paying $81 a month for full coverage. I have liability on my bike so it comes to around 70 a month for my s2k. I am 24 years old and have Geico insurance.

Insurance varies a bunch by state to state. Who is cheap in one state will not be in another. I've been with State Farm forever. My rates are reasonable but my service has been great, I really like my agent. When my 1980 Corvette was totalled I got a lot of good advice on how to interact with the other insurance company and an offer to do that leg work for me if I wanted. (police assigned 100% blame to other party which is why my agent was not automatically involved).

Geico, well I have a hard time faulting anything that Warren Buffet is involved with. But I remember years ago that they would take part of their profits and purchase radar guns for rural and under-funded police departments. I've also heard bad stories of them dropping customers after a claim.

By the way, my experience with that accident in the Vette convinced me to avoid Farmers Insurance. A minor incident in my Mazda Tribute (rear ended at a red light) was a very good experience with the other driver's insurance company which was associated with military veterans, but I forget the name of the company.

Another vote for State Farm here. I've been with them since I was 16, then got my own policy at 25. I've never paid more than $2000/year and that was for 2 cars, one being a sports car. When I had my first accident in over 12 years in 2002, my claim was about $10k total (I was tagged with 100% fault) and they did not raise my premium one penny. My agents and their staff hve always had a "next door neighbor" friendliness to them.
