So many members so few member galleries. Why? I love to look at my car, bathe it, drive it, take pictures of it and even look at those. You spent some descent cash on your ride so you should all have a camera and if you don't I'm not trying to be rude. But jeez! S2Ki charges $20 to post pictures, so take advantage. We could make this a much better site if every body made a point to get some pics up. I understand it's winter for a lot of people and you can't just go outside and take some photos, or you may not have any pics. But I'm sure there's a good portion that have pics lying around and have the know how to upload them and just aren't doing it.
so upload your pictures. This site deserves them. Even if it's stock, who cares, this is your baby we're talking about here. PLEASE, you're driving me crazy

Well, got some more new parts on the way, so I should have it all put together and some new pictures in a couple weeks.
And if you can wait a little over a month, I'll have videos of my car and others at a track day I'm hosting. Got a new suction camera mount and everything for those sweet side angles.

Nice ride Scott, I notice you said that you weren't sure where else to post your pics. You may/may not know or care but if you go to the S2000 picture page while you're logged on there will be a link where it says you can "upload photos" & it's pretty self explanatory from there. Haven't tried putting videos up yet so good luck.

Well the weather is bad so I had to take pictures in the garage. Fond of a few, wish a few were better.
My S2000 Oh, a word of advice for some of the pictures I've seen posted here. If your camera will accept one, invest in a circular polarizer. Easy to use and makes a big difference in removing those annoying reflections on shiny painted metal and glass. Cheers! |

why would i want to do that I try to keep my car clean so you can see reflections so why would i want to hide them in my pictures?

Well, it has nothing to do with the car being cleaned versus dirty. Reflections tend to hide the color and detail of the car itself and distract from the car. Circular polarizers can have a big impact on the depth of color, the detail available, etc.
What looks good to our eyes (shiny reflective paint, for example) does not always look good in photos. That is one trick to good photography. Ask yourself this: is the point of your picture to see the car, or to see the clouds and trees around the car (reflected in the glass, metal). |

I probably should know this, however . . .
Do you have to be a member to post pics?

Dunno Blade, I keep walkin' towards it with a camera, but by the time I get there it's already gone out on one'a those make-believe errands that I later feed the wife. (But, she don't hold my excuses up for close inspection. Otherwise I'd be doin' the same thing for her frequent "milk-runs" in 'er Miata)
I guess li'l Stewie's jus' camera-shy'z'all. Actually it looks jus' like s2's 'ceptin' it's got those squashed sandcrab wheels on account it's an '04 n' most'a the time is usually rain-streaked. Be well n' good luck in your quest. Java

I put my first album up with four pics. Look for user "bjurasz". Weather has been bad lately so I don't have any outdoor pics yet, just pics in my garage so far. Hope that changes soon.
