Smile 01 stewie with 70k miles

What would be the most efficient oil for my stewie around her miles? Whats bad is that i think every time i go to the oil change station, they feed her different types. I've only changed it once myself because i wasn't working that day. Every since that i've been busy with the marine corps so i let the bubbas at Jiff do it. Any opinions?

Ahh! From the title I was expectin' that you were havin' to part with it Estu. Very happy that's not the case.
As for the proper oil at 70 thou, I'd stay with the stuff Ma Honda recommends. 70 thou may not be brandy-new no mo, but it sure isn't time for any magic elixirs yet.
Regular maintenance n' oil changes with good quality oil of a viscosity recommended by the Honda dealers in your area. Y'ain't careful, the two of ya's can grow old together.
One thought though: crawlin' aroun' under your Stewie to change your oil makes you aware of stuff that the bubbas at Lube'll jus' ignore.
If memory serves me correctly, the Crotch don't leave much room for anythin' but catchin' your breath between duties. But it'd serve you well to find time to change your own oil. Eliminates all kind'za "what-ifs".
Be well.

I agree with Java. Find some time and do it yourself. It will only take you a half hour, just set aside some time and do it right. Also, as Java said, no reason to start with the magical elixirs yet. You should be fine with whatever oil you want to use. Just make sure to check your level in between oil changes.

thanks guys. will do so. I figure the stewie didn't need any magical beans yet in her crank. One question though. Why is it when i start my car, whether its in the morning or mid day, the car feels like it wants to cut off from idle, then like a second later it'll return to its normal rpm ? just curious ? i think shes sick

Diagnosin' on-line leaves alot to be desired Estu, n' not basin' this on anythin' technical, but I believe Stewie's jus' one'a those critters whut ain't a mornin' person.
I've noted a similar reluctance when I "wake" my AP2 up too n' a friend's AP1 had the same thing.
Be well.

Its a little sensor that sits on top of the intake manifold near the throttle body. Picture:

That would explain it. He has his own, unique language. I enjoy it.
