Why all the guests.
As I write this, we have 27 people checking out the site. Three members and 24 guests. I wonder why more people don't sign up as members when it's a free site?

Good question Go ! It's a great site. I enjoy the camaraderie and info shared.
Maybe if we offer them a special, like: "for this week only sign up and you'll receive for free a new and improved salad shooter"!!!

honest answer is civic owners. Our car is a car that alot of 16 year old kids like and want to learn about. I would be willing to bet cobra, evo, sti, and srt 4 sites have the same exact thing.

A salad shooter??? Sign me up!
Anonymity. Lack of involvement. Over-efficient time usage. Not much, but, it takes a certain amount of commitment of oneself to get involved in a site. I think (on occassion) that while alodda our members get a sense of comraderie from bein' on the site, there's probably a ten-to-one ratio of folks that're "jus'-the-facts-ma'm" n' don't wanna get involved past gettin' what they need. Aaay . . if that's what floats their boat . . so-be-it. They cash in on the involvement that the rest of us put into the site n' it doesn't take anything away from us. But I godda tell you guys (collective usage: includes any females of the species that may be members of this august body), the members that I've enjoyed rubbin' shoulders with (electronically anyway) r' a terrific group of enthusiasts. (Enter group hug here) Guests r' spooks. Spectres. Cartoon clouds around the word "Poof!" We da real deal people. 'Glad to've made your acquaintance. Be well. Java

The New Guy
Sorry, I'm an old guy and had a hard time figuring out this high tech computer stuff.
Anyway, your shame helped me figure it out. FYI, I just bought an '07. Got about 3,900 miles so far. Absolutely love it. |

Welcome aboard Bill. I think that you'll find a number of us slightly-more-than-young folk on the site. Marques like Morgan, Triumph n' even Studebaker've received honorable mention n' members actually knew what they were. 'Think you'll like it.
Best of luck with your new ride. May the road ahead be filled with twistys n' free of traffic. (n' motorhead cops in those Hemi-Chargers. They've got the chase instincts of Rottweillers) As for the computer end of it . . I know what you're talkin' about, but it does get easier with use. A bit anyway. Be well. Java

Not since the '60s has a minute of this particular gearhead's life gone by without some thoughts of Carroll's Cobras. It wasn't mentioned because, I'm happy to say, even the young 'uns are pretty familiar with 'em, so it's a name easily recognized. Even if most of "'em" r' actually repros (the Cobras, not the young 'uns).
N' I've found that there's more'n a few on the site that're pretty knowledgeable regardin' all things Cobra. Hmmmm-m-m-m . . maybe there's hope for the species after all. A Ford man forgettin' the Cobra? Not bloody likely. Be well. Java

Thanks. I do miss it from time to time. It wasn't the nicest one, but it was mine and I put A LOT of time into it.

A valiant attempt at humility Go.
But we've seen your work. I suspect that if the car sat in your garage, n' spent time under your wrench . . . while it may not've been the nicest, it hadda be one of the nicest. Makes my heart ache to look at it. 'Can't imagine what it does to you. Thanks for sharin'. Java
