i have always wanted to put a s2000 motor in a newer bodystyle spitfire. I am not a fan of how he did it. He chopped alot of frame and I dont see any pictures of him putting new braces in hmm. The car in the first link was done very very well and is an awesome car.

Like putting a Ford 260 into a 2,000 lb. AC body and creating the Cobra.

HEHE I'm putting a 302 into a late 60's Datsun 1600 Fairlady roadster (I have a few in my area that are gutted but in good shape I'm looking to buy)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh-h-h-h-h-h-h-h . . NO! Hell! Stop! Stop!
Put your hands where I can see 'em n' step away from the Fairlady. You never said it was a 1600. (Golly, I wonder why?) A 1600 Hell? I'm sure that when you're done it's gonna be a screamer, but . . . a 1600 Hell? I need'a drink. (Hmmmm-m-m-m-m . . . this is probably how the 'Healey guys felt when I dropped the 'Vette innitt. Whut goes aroun' comes aroun'.) No wonder you were so secretive about what you were droppin' the smallblock in. You sly dog you! Be well. Java N' watch yerself Go. 'Givin' your age away knowin' it was the 260. |
